Neutral quote worksheet · Verified August 1, 2026

Moving Money to Israel

The useful comparison is not “zero fee” versus “low fee.” It is how many shekels arrive after the exchange rate, provider fee, funding cost and any intermediary deduction.

Neutral worksheet: Aliyah Tools does not recommend or rank a provider. Compare live quotes using the same amount, then confirm the receiving bank’s documentation requirements before a large transfer.

Known limits: Availability, verification, transfer times, fees and exchange rates can change by country, amount and funding method. Obtain live quotes and confirm acceptance with your Israeli bank before a large transfer.

Update policy: Material rule changes and corrections are logged on the version-history page.

Compare up to three live quotes

Enter the same amount and the same market-reference rate for every quote. Then enter exactly what each provider says the Israeli recipient will receive, plus any fee paid outside the sent amount.

This worksheet does not retrieve a live market rate and does not recommend a provider. A provider may show its fee inside the quote rather than as a separate amount. Do not add the same fee twice.

What to compare besides price

Final ILS receivedUse the recipient amount, not a headline exchange rate or “fee-free” label.
Funding and timingBank transfer, card and direct debit can have different costs and settlement times.
VerificationCheck identity, residence and source-of-funds requirements before a time-sensitive transfer.
Recipient-bank readinessFor a large transfer, ask the Israeli bank in advance what records it may request and how the payment should be described.
